…..AND THE LIFE GOES ON [:(]
The moment a child lands his first foot on the earth he enters the stressful world. The child doesn’t even get to enjoy the beauty the world holds in. Even before the parents’ think of a name for the child, they plan what their child has to be in the future. The interests of the child sometimes don’t matter at all. The child is sent to the school, the urge to be on the top is inculcated in the children from such an young age that they forget that he/she is just a few years old, it may not even know the meaning of the word competition but tells everyone he wants to top the class. The child looses his childhood in this urge and forgets what does play mean. The life goes on monotonously. The playful child is lost somewhere in this busy and competitive world and the parents who stress them. The life continues in the same way. Later on in life they realize that they never had the beautiful childhood they were meant to have.
The present education system also leaves no time for oneself to realize and pursue their hobbies and we are lost somewhere in this world. Even a first standard student speaks about being in the top, never speaks about his interests in sports or other activities. What does that child so young realize about competition if it’s not inculcated in him???? He thinks only about being out in the playground playing with his/her friends without any tensions. But even the life of a small child has lost the charm the fun the enthusiasm a child usually reflects. Some how the childhood passes by and we enter the totally stressed out world and then theirs no scope left for us to pursue the hobbies, realize ourselves, everything to have a good career. Career is important, equally important is the development and growth as a person and not only in our career. We don’t even realize where we have lost ourselves in the race only until it’s too late for the realization.
The world has a very beautiful side to it. We need to know and explore. One has to realize that career and money is not all that makes a life and theirs lot more to it. The money may bring only few things into one’s life but our personal happiness is what we have to search for. In this urge to establish a career personal interests have always taken a back seat and the life is moving on. We have left ourselves back somewhere unknown to us for a career, to earn money and the life goes on like this unless we realize that career is not the only one though it’s equally important. But we have lost all the beauty the life had brought along wit it for us.
Is this what is life????? A career, a family and that’s it???? I don’t think so….. Are we making use of the life we have been gifted to realize ourselves? Pursue our dreams?? Pursue our interests??
But the life goes on in the same way until we realize to change it accordingly.
The system in being continued from the past years and will continue further but when will people realize that the one life we are gifted with is to lead it our own way and not blindly follow the rules and norms being followed from ages????SNEHA NAIK
